Update
As 2025 comes to an end, Valiant Scribe reflects on a year of faith in action. While our literary journal has been on hiatus, our philanthropic arm continued to make a difference, supporting a secondary school student in Nigeria through our scholarship program and contributing toward the Ufahari Girls residence in Uganda, a safe haven for girls in high-risk situations.

We also invite you to read our founder Debra Ayis’s inspiring testimony, about perseverance through conflict, loss, displacement and the sustaining power of faith in seasons of uncertainty “Faith That Endures: My Journey with Christ,” published in the Heart of Flesh Literary Journal here.

The journal will return in 2026 with new stories and renewed purpose.

A literary initiative that provides a platform for content that focuses on social issues through a Christian lens.
We aim to feature work that speaks to human rights and social justice issues from perspectives of hope and truth.
